Message Hunt

Message Hunt is a social quarantine game initially created in under 24 hours for Openhacks 2020 and further developed in the following days. 

Generate and send codes to your friends. Receive and paste in codes to generate a game to play. (Or you can make your own code to play.) Enjoy playing! 

Unfortunately, copying and pasting in/out of the game is not allowed by the software the game was created in due to security issues and limitations. Please manually copy over codes. Apologies for the inconvenience. 

Extended Instructions (basic instructions in-game)

• Create Code — type in a short message (letters and spaces only), press enter, and the code will be copied into your in-game clipboard. Paste it into any text box in-game to view. 
• Enter Code — manually type in codes sent to you by friends. Once entered, the text box grey text will let you know if it is a valid code. (Valid codes may only have numbers.)
• Use arrow keys or the WASD keys to move. 
• Avoid moving scissors. Touching scissors will send you back to the start of the level. 
• Collect floating wooden letter. These letters will spell out the message you were sent. 
• To advance to the next level, enter the portal. You may enter the portal without collecting the letter, but the letter from that level will not be added to your inventory. It will show up in the next level.
